The first Presidential debate was a shock to many when quickly it devolved into a three-way shouting match. The President made a point of fighting back against his opponent and the moderator, Chris Wallace, who quickly lost control of the affair. After the debate Trump's advisor Hope Hicks tested positive for COVID-19, and then on Friday morning news broke that both the President and the First Lady also tested positive. President Trump was transferred to Walter Reed Military Hospital as a precautionary measure, said to be in good spirits despite the illness. The Presidents debate performance, and his COVID-19 diagnosis both potentially have big impacts on the final stretch to Election Day. Trump's Press Secretary sparred with reporters over the President's debate performance, Melania trump's former friend released a surreptitiously recorded phone call between herself and the first lady recorded in 2018, and Democrat Governor Tom Wolf caught on a hot mic chuckling about the political theater of wearing masks. There was a lot to wade through in the news this week, listen to Ethan Hatcher and Dr. David Root share their thoughts and opinions on these topics and more on this week's episode of Saturday Night on the Circle.
